King of Kings!
The LORD is king! He is robed in majesty. Indeed, the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Your royal laws cannot be changed.Your reign, O LORD, is holy forever and ever~Psalm 93:1,5
Yesterday I wrote about sheep and well it is that time of year where we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ so although this scripture comes from the old testiment I think its fitting for Christmas time as well. This is one time of the year when many who may not know God as their savior but they most likely know the Christmas story and what better time to minister to those who may be lost sheep than NOW!!! There are a lot of Kings, Presidents, Prime Ministers and others in leadership roles throughout the world. But none of them have the power that our God has. Our God is King of all Kings. Even in our very secular culture there seems to be a sense that we all want and need something Bigger than ourselves. I heard recently that many retailers are going back to saying "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays", some may think this doesn't mean a whole lot but to me I think it means a lot. It means that Christians have spoken and those in "power" have listened. So I encourage you as well as myself when a clerk wishes you a Merry Christmas that you respond by sharing what a wonderful King we serve, or share what God has done in your life. If at least one clerk accepts that statement as an invitation to ask Jesus into their hearts then what a wonderful Christmas gift for you and them!
In God's Love,
Sarah:)
