Always there
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.-- Psalm 46:1 Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.--Psalm 25:5
Okay is anyone else feeling a little frazzled today as though they are just running in place and getting absolutely nothing accomplished? Well I am so I apologize if this devotion comes off as more of a journal of my thoughts today instead of an encouragement to you today. This morning both my boys woke up with horrible coughs and grumpy attitudes, crying as I left for work with Aiden saying "mommy, please stay", it breaks my heart when my babies cry out for but I do know they are in good hands while I'm at work. Before I left I tried to find some notes I needed but could not find them, and was unable to print out something I needed for work. I felt very frazzled and overwhelmed...and while I was driving to work I heard a song "You never let go"it brought me almost to tears. It felt like God was saying "Sarah I have you in my arms, just trust everything will work out" Yes I know my troubles are really minor but it was comforting for me to know I'm always in God's hands if I only rely on him. Here is the song I heard this morning I hope you find encouragement and comfort from it as I did.
You Never let Go by David Crowder Band
When clouds veil sun
And disaster comes
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
When waters rise
And hope takes flight
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
Ever faithful
Ever true
You I know
You never let go
You never let go
You never let go
You never let go
When clouds brought rain
And disaster came
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
When waters rose
And hope had flown
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
Oh, my soul
Overflows
Oh, what love, oh, what love
Oh, my soul
Fills hope
Perfect love that never lets go
Oh, what love, oh, what love
Oh, what love, oh, what love
In joy and pain
In sun and rain
You?re the same
Oh, You never let go
In God's Love,
Sarah:)
