36+ Weeks and More Nursery Pics!!!

Nathen put together the dresser from Target, and atop of it is a K-State Piggy Bank that we have been putting our spare change in, I'm still trying to get him talked into a KU Piggy Bank too, but I'm afraid more money would go into the K-State one since Nathen tends to have more change than me---Oh well by the time Aiden goes to college we'll need all the spare change no matter which bank it comes from!!!:)
I'm anticipating spending much time here nursing Aiden. We added a few pictures, books and toys to keep Aiden entertained just in case mommy isnt very entertaining in the wee hours of the night/morning:)
As promised some belly pictures, these are all me at 36 weeks and 4 days.
The quilt above me is the one that my mom and Nathen's mom made. My mom did the cross stitching and Nathen's mom did the backing of the quilt. We are so fortunate to have such great parents who can work together as a team to make a cool heirloom that Aiden will have forever.
I had my 36 week appointment on Wednesday and it went very well. I was pleasantly surprise to only gain 1 lb in the last 2 weeks---I'm so glad that the pregnancy is almost over so I dont have to watch the scale numbers increase every time I step on it. But more importantly Nathen and I are very excited to meet our little guy. Another pleasant surprise at my appointment was that I am dilated at 2 cm and my Dr suspected that I could deliver within 2 weeks!!! But as I've talked to other mommies I could be at 2 cm for awhile before I progress any further so we are not counting on having him early, but it sure would be nice!!:)
I have been feeling pretty well, and feel very relieved that the nursery and our room are now completed. Everything is pretty much done, we just need to put the car seat in the car, and I need to get the burst of nesting energy and give the house a good once over. I've continued to have increased cramping in my inner thighs which are pretty painful but nothing that I can't manage. And have recently been revisited by middle of the night charlie horses in my calves, poor Nathen has been woken up 2 times this week to rub these out for me, although he doesn't remember doing so one night--poor thing is even working in his sleep!!!
This last week has been a lot of fun because many people now notice that I am pregnant and ask to feel my belly, I'm impressed that they ask because I've heard from others that strangers would just grab their belly without asking. So far no strangers have even asked which is good for me. It's mostly just co-workers who want to join me in my excitement, so its been fun talking to them and getting a few pointers from the ones who are veteran mommies.
Well geez, I've really rambled on. I hope you all have a great weekend.

I can't believe Aiden is almost here! I am so excited for you guys. Sarah, you look great. Enjoy your last weeks as much as you can and try not to get too anxious:) Eating bananas (for the potasium) and drinking EmergenC helped with the leg cramps and restless leg feelings I had at the end of my pregnancy. I can't wait to see the little bundle of joy!

Thanks for the tips Lesley. I eat bananas just about every day. What is EmergenC? and where can I get it? Maybe that will help in addition to the bananas, the inner thigh cramps are really becoming annoying and painful.
Sarah:)

EmergenC is just a vitamin drink that mainly has vitamin C plus other vitamins in it. It comes powdered in a little packet that you add to water. You can get it at Target or Walmart or Walgreens I believe. I feel for you girl because I had a lot of shooting leg pains, too, and my nice gentle chiropractor helped a bunch, too. Good luck! Only a few weeks left.
